This afternoon Barrett and Lydia had their first playdate together. They laid on the blanket together kicking and waving their arms all around. It was so cute to watch their random movements. I can't wait to watch them grow up together!

Exciting Evening
"Oooohhhh, I'm so excited", were the first words Blake said when I told him we were going to the Duncan's house for dinner. He adores his Duncan and Sweetie. Although he didn't get to play ping pong, which is one of his favorite things to do at their house, he did get to play the Wii. Luke and Barrett had fun looking at each other, and Mandy and I had fun playing baby swap.
Sunny Sunday
The blue sky, the hot sun, the feel of cold water splashing on you, and wet grass sticking to your feet... I could not let the moment pass us by. Oh the simple things that make childhood so fun!

Super Sunday
Robert and I rotate teaching Blake's sunday school class with another couple. Today was our Sunday to teach. Since I am now a blogger, I thought I would take my camera and capture some of Blake's young sunday school days.
The lesson was all about a kind family who built a room for Elisha ( 2 kings 4:8-13). As an activity, the kids drew rooms and things you would put in the room.
After church we came home to see that our last butterfly had come out of his cocoon. We set him free and then it was naptime for the boys. After a short nap we were off to an ice cream social with our sunday school class small group. There was lots of ice cream to be eaten, playing between the little kids, and visiting between the grown-ups.

From Cocoon to Butterfly
Today is the day we have been waiting for. We could tell the time for our butterflies to come out of their cocoons was soon approaching because the cocoons had turned from green to clear. When we got home from our visit with Grandpa this morning, there were three beautiful butterflies.
