Send Relief - Puerto Rico

Barrett had an amazing opportunity to travel to Puerto Rico with our church group.
They got settled into their accommodations at the Send Relief center.  They had training once they were settled in.
It was a full day of travel and training.  Barrett said he slept very well that night!

Farmer's Market

We love to visit our local Farmer's Market.
Today we stocked up on local honey, jam, and fruit.

Contact Lenses

Kaleb got contact lenses this year at his annual eye appointment.
He's wanted to ear sunglasses for years, so we went straight to the store to buy him a pair when we left the eye doctor.

Dwell Camp

Brynn and Barrett had a wonderful time in Glorieta, NM, at Dwell Camp!
We met at the church at 3:15 for the students to check in and load the buses.
The themed evenings are always one of their favorites!
So is the cold brew!
Barrett didn't get any pictures of himself, but he always appreciates a good hike and scenic pictures!

It was another great year of spiritual growth and deepened friendships for our two middles!

Happy Father's Day

For the second year in a row, Brynn and Barrett were at youth camp on Father's Day.  Blake, Kaleb, and I took Robert out to one of his favorite restaurants to celebrate the holiday.
We are thankful for all that he does for our family!
We are also thankful for Papa and Jim and the special role they play in our lives.

Friday Lunch

Since Robert has off on Fridays, we enjoy going to eat at yummy places during the summer that we don't typically branch out to.  One of our favorites is the Country House Cafe in Terrell.
Robert and Kaleb got the catfish, while I enjoyed the chicken tenders.
Blake was at work, Brynn and Barrett at youth camp, so the 3 of us enjoyed our delicious lunch out!

Son's Rio Cibolo

Our campground offers a free breakfast on Saturday mornings, so we walked the short trek to the front of the campground to enjoy it.
After breakfast, we made the 30-minute drive to Son's Rio Cibolo, where we met the Stuarts to enjoy one of our favorite days of the year!
We got all of our special snacks set up in the cabana, and then the kids made their way to the water for a day of fun!
After a full day at Son's, complete with sandwiches and a lot of snacks, we went back to our campground.  The Stuarts met us there so we could grill hamburgers for dinner.  There is an outdoor kitchen area with plenty of seating and electric grills by the pool that we were able to utilize.
The campground has a nice area for hanging out, so we enjoyed it until the sun set and our day came to an end.
Our day of fun in the sun at Son's never disappoints!  We are so thankful for our special weekend with our dear friends!
