Silver Cliff

We sent Blake off for his second year of youth camp.  He looks forward to his time at Silver Cliff, always has a blast, and grows closer to his friends and God.
During the week the students heard about how God uses imperfect people
to accomplish amazing things.
We sure did miss him while he was gone, but we love seeing his independence and knowing that his faith has been strengthened during his time at camp.

Kaleb got a good report at his 7 year check-up.
He weighs 63 lbs and is 4'4" tall.
He is healthy and we are thankful!

Baxter

When my uncle passed away, his 9 year old Sheltie needed a new home.
We were happy to be his new home and love him for Uncle Gerald!
The kids have wanted a dog forever!
They were thrilled that Baxter got to come home with us!
Welcome to our family Baxter Stell McIntire!

Uncle Gerald

Losing loved ones never gets easier.
Our family has definitely had its share of losing those we love, and it just never gets easier.
We lost our Uncle Gerald unexpectedly, taking us all by surprise.
He was a funny, gentle, and smart man.
We will hold the memories of him close and pass down stories about him to our kids so that he isn't forgotten, but remembered for the great man that he was.  He will be missed.

 Cade, Caleb, Blake, and Austin
Same four boys, quite grown now!
Gerald left a wonderful legacy and made an impact on all those around him.
Everyone that knew him, loved him.

Barrett had his first swim meet, and did amazing!
They competed with freestyle and backstroke.
Barrett is in lane 2 (from the left side).
So proud of him!  He's been working hard on his strokes and strength this summer!

VBS 2019

IN THE WILD
Amazing Encounters with Jesus
John 20:31

We had another great year of VBS!
Blake volunteered in first grade as a youth helper and Barrett experienced his last year as a VBS student.
I volunteered in my usual place, the baby room.
We've always loved spending this week in God's Word, with our church family, and with each other.  It's one of our favorite weeks!

But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31
