Headed Home
Today we said goodbye to Medina Highpoint Resort.
We had a great time camping at this beautiful location!
We made an extra stop on the way home at Magnolia Market!
Robert and I love watching Chip and JoJo and were really excited to stop and check out their place!
It was another great camping trip for us. We had great weather and made great memories in the Texas Hill Country!

Hiking, Biking, and Swimming
Today we spent the day at camp.
We started with a hike up the large hill behind our campsite.
There were some steep parts to it, as well as rocky terrain.
There were zillions of daddy long-leg spiders on the roof inside of this cave. The kids named it "Hairy Armpit Cave" because they said the nests of daddy long-legs looked like hairy armpits :)
There was such a beautiful view at the top!
We spent the afternoon playing at the rec hall, swimming, and biking.

Fredericksburg
We woke up to a beautiful, cloudy morning, with zero humidity!
Since this campground had a breakfast buffet, we took full advantage of it!
It didn't disappoint!
Today was our day of exploration.
We drove into Fredericksburg for lunch and exploring.
I had read that Clear River was a fun, family friendly place to stop for lunch and dessert.
It had a fun 50's theme with delicious food and tasty treats!
Next, we went down the road to the Pioneer Museum.
Visitors can walk through "real life" early Texas structures and view
exhibits demonstrating early Texas family life, education, professions,
and culture.

When you walk into the buildings and houses, a recording starts playing telling you all about the family and life in that particular place. The kids loved it!
The kids had a great time experiencing life in early Texas!
We went back to the camper for swimming, dinner, s'mores, and bed!

#RVLife
We packed the RV and headed to the Hill Country this time.
After about 5 1/2 hours and a nerve wracking climb up, around, and down a very tall hill (with our heavy RV in tow), we made it to our destination.
Medina Highpoint Resort is where we parked it for the weekend. #homeiswhereyouparkit
Our view was so pretty!
It was hot after we unpacked, so we went to the pool to cool off.
Dinner and bike riding soon followed.
Daddy smoked a brisket before we left, so delicious brisket tacos were on the menu!
The kids played on the little playground while Robert and I relaxed together on the porch swing.
As the sun set, deer and bats came out to eat their dinner. The kids loved watching them up close!
It was a fun way to end our day!
