We Survived

We are exhausted, but we survived the first week of school!

The first day of school arrived bright and early!  We are sad to see summer go, but looking forward to a great school!

Meet The Teacher

The kids couldn't wait to see who their new teachers would be for the 2015-2016 school year!  Daddy brought them up to the school for our Meet the Teacher night to check out the lists.

Mrs. Watkins is Brynn's 1st grade teacher.

 Mrs. Simmons is Barrett's 2nd grade teacher.

 Mrs. Johnson is Blake's 5th grade teacher.

They came by my classroom to tell me who their teachers are and what friends will be in their class.  Looking forward to a great school year!

Firsts

We had a week of firsts.

Summer Is Over

The end of our summer ended up getting crazy with things going on behind the blog/social media scenes, but the kids and I made sure we enjoyed one last day at the resort together.  We had fun swimming, throwing, jumping, and flipping.  The pool is our favorite summer place and I know we are making memories that will last a lifetime!

Boating Fun

We were invited to go out on the lake with some friends from church.  We had a great time playing!

 

 The funny and random part of the day was running into my co-worker, who was Blake's 4th grade teacher out on the lake. 

 Blake tried skiing for the first time, and popped right up using the trainer skis.

 We went back to the docks to grill out.  It was a very fun day!

Camping Obsession

Our little Barrett has been obsessed with campers and boats since we've had the opportunity to spend more time doing both this summer.  I got out my grandparent's old matchbox car and camper set for him to play with.  I used to play with it at their house, and I love being able to get it out for Barrett to play with!
