Happy Halloween

We enjoyed another year of trick-or-treating with the Stuarts!

Brynn, Kaleb, and Megan trick-or-treated, while the 4 big boys stayed home and passed out candy.

Tres Rios

We woke up to a beautiful morning at Tres Rios!

We look forward to our annual October trip each year.

After a morning spent at camp and some beautiful walks around the rivers, we went into town to eat at our favorite pie shop, Pie Peddlers.

We stopped by Big Rocks Park on our way back to camp.  The kids love jumping, climbing, and exploring here.

The sun warmed up, so we enjoyed a shady spot.

We went back to camp for dinner and trick-or-treating.

The next morning was Halloween, so we got packed up and headed back home for our annual Halloween night trick-or-treating.

Orchestra Concert

Barrett performed a wonderful concert, another thing that we have enjoyed being back to normal this year.   We didn't get to see him perform last school year, so it's been nice to get to attend concerts this year.

Our annual October camping trip with the Duncans was this same weekend, so the rest of our crew went to Glen Rose to set up camp, and Barrett, Baxter, and I drove out to meet them after the concert.

Fall Festival

We were happy to have our church's fall festival back after several years of rain and C0VID cancelled it.  Blake, Barrett, and Brynn all worked booths, Robert worked security, so it was just Kaleb and I there to walk around.  We enjoyed getting to see our family there too!

We loved being able to do something normal, something that we have missed out on the last year due to the pandemic!

Goodbye Football Season

We've had such a blast watching Brynn dance this year!

We are so proud of her for stepping out of her comfort zone and trying something new!

I hope she always finds the courage to try something new... and dance though every circumstance in her life!

October

Brynn had her heart checked and passed with flying colors! Her heart looks great.  She is considered "medically cured" and doesn't have to visit the heart specialist again, unless her pediatrician sees something concerning in the future.

Barrett tried out for Region and made it!  So proud of him!

Blake plays in the Wednesday night youth band. I love seeing him use his talent for the Lord.

While Elleigh has been home recovering, before the school got her homebound set up, I have been able to go tutor her.  We've enjoyed our time together!
