Happy Birthday Wyatt
Wyatt celebrated his first birthday with a party at the park.
He wasn't so sure about eating his cake.
The kids were intrigued by it!
Happy Birthday Wyatt!

Daddy/Daughter Date
Daddy took his princess out for a special night.
First, they went out to dinner. Chinese food, one of Brynn's favorites!
Then it was off to see Mulan Jr. at our Community Playhouse.
Brynn and Daddy got invited back to meet the girls who played Mulan and Mushu.
It was a special night for our special princess!

Summer Fun
Summer fun is going to the dollar movie with your friends,
followed by snow cones,
Riding bikes (with no training wheels),
Swimming,
No Training Wheels
One thing on our list of things to conquer this summer was riding with no training wheels. We knew they were ready, we just needed to take the time to actually do it. Summer is the perfect opportunity to practice and perfect!
The training wheels came off, and after a few passes of me holding the back of their seat, I let go, and off they went. Brynn was a little bit more hesitant, so it took her a little longer, but by the end of the evening, they both had it down!
We are all so proud of them!

Thousand Trails - Last Day
The only thing we had planned on our last day was eating more leftovers, relaxing some more, riding bikes and the golf cart more... you see the trend. More of what we've been enjoying all the other days.
The backside of our campsite nestled in the tress.
The kids found a crawdad hole, so Gram fixed up a line with bacon at the end to try to fish for it.
They didn't have any luck or patience.
Robert in his element. Camping and cruising from campsite to campsite on the golf cart.
Elleigh getting some snuggles from Uncle Beau.
Papa, Gram, and the kids
Our campsite for the long weekend.
We had a wonderful time camping with our family!! Looking forward to many more!

Father's Day at Thousand Trails
Our new morning routine fell into place as the kids took their positions in the sand, and the grown-ups took their positions in lawn chairs with coffee in hand. This morning little Aiden joined the group. He and Shan came down early for our Father's Day celebration.
Happy Father's Day to the best, the leader of the big 'ole Grable clan!
After everyone arrived, we ate a yummy meal of hot dogs and hamburgers.
We spent the afternoon at the pool after lunch.
We pretty much take up the whole olympic sized pool. Everyone in this picture is in our family, and this isn't even the whole family!
Papa and Gram got all of the grandkids water blasters to play with. A water war erupted in the pool!

Happy Father's Day to the king of our castle! The man that works hard to provide for us and is a shining example of selfless love and integrity!

and sister picture.

After an afternoon in the pool, we went back to the campsite for dessert (cookie cake, strawberry shortcake, cookies, and fruit).
Our family is blessed to have five #1 Dads! (Josh not pictured)
Time for the selfie stick to make an appearance!

Thousand Trails Day 2
The kids woke up ready for a day in the great outdoors!
They didn't waste any time getting busy (and dirty)!
Daddy drove the princesses on the golf cart :)
The lake was full and beautiful!
Gram spotted a turtle that the kids loved looking at.
Popsicles were a must after a hot walk/bike ride! The golf cart riders weren't quite as hot as the others :)
Meanwhile, Robert had been smoking a turkey, corn on the cob, and potatoes to contribute to our lunch feast.
Everyone contributed something to our delicious camping feast!
After lunch, it was time to go cool off at the pool.
After swimming, we dried off by playing on the seesaws and playing putt putt.
Barrett made a hole in one!
We went back to camp to eat leftovers from our lunch feast for dinner. The kids rode bikes and played until dark. Then it was showers and bedtime in our cool camper (it was hot today!).
