Swimming

We have enjoyed swimming to beat the heat and get some exercise.  We haven't gone as often as we would like due to the weather though.  We've actually had rain and cloudy skies a lot this month, which is very unusual for Texas!  We've even had to pack up and leave the pool early a couple of times due to storms rolling in.

Vacation Bible School

We had another great year at VBS!!!  Since I work in the baby room, our whole crew gets to attend.  This was our little guy's first VBS... and he loved it!!

As my fellow baby room worker (my sister Shannon) and I took the babies for walks in the quadruple stroller, I always grabbed my phone in case I saw the kids.  I was able to snap a few pictures of them as they went throughout their morning.

 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect 1 Peter 3:15

Swim Lessons

Brynn had a fun week of swim lessons!

 She is getting stronger and more brave!

 It won't be long until she is swimming on her own... once she gets brave enough to go for it!

Father's Day

We spent Father's Day out at the campsite.

 It is our family tradition to spend the day out here together.

 We always look forward to it!

We always take the traditional cousin and sister pictures.

 After swimming we headed back to the campsite for hot dogs and hamburgers. 

 The little cousins had fun playing in my old wagon that dad restored.

 This picture of our little guy brings back so many memories of Blake, with the same dirty face!  We have so many pictures of Blake as a little guy covered in dirt after a long day outside.

Father's Day Eve

Since we spend the entire day of Father's Day with my family cooking out and swimming, it has become a new tradition to take Robert out on the eve of Father's Day to a special dinner of his choice.  It seems as though Panchos has become his traditional choice.

 Our family is so blessed by this man.  He works hard to provide for all of us and loves each and every one of us unconditionally.  He has the most loving, selfless heart and is always listening and ready to do what God asks of him.

 We are honored to be able to call him DADDY!!!

The Zoo

At the end of the school year all of the kids got passes for a free student admission to the zoo.  We had a "cool" day the first week we were out of school so I decided to use our passes before the Texas heat hit.  Some of our favorite friends had the same idea that we did!

 We had a wonderful day!
