Happy 10th Birthday Brynn

Today we celebrated Brynn's 10th Birthday!

Because it's a special year (double digits), she got to choose a special place to eat for dinner.

 She chose Kyoto, and loved every bite of it!

 When we got home, along with the boys, we celebrated with a Chocolate Peanut Butter Dream Pie.

 The following day her name was on the sign at Culver's.

Happy 10th Birthday to our loving, affectionate, caring, hard-working girl!

Venture 2019

Blake had another great year of Venture.  We didn't host this year because he wanted to experience Venture with a new host family.

 We are so thankful for how much the families in our church pour into the lives of our children!

Blake's group of boys is unique, and very close.  Because of this, they don't separate them at Venture.  One family hosts the whole group.  It has been fun watching this group of boys grow up together!

Janurary Fun

January has been a good month so far!

Kaleb had fun at his friend's birthday party,

 He lost a tooth,

 More fun at the bookstore,

 Blake's last wrestling match,

 Making derby cars at BMO's,

 Playing with friends,

 Sewing snuggle gowns,

 Outings with friends, 

 Creations on the Etch-A-Sketch

 More sewing projects,

 Lots of fun at the deer lease,

Today we went to visit the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.  I have been with work, but this was Robert's first trip to see it.

We enjoyed reading and seeing the history and memorabilia. 

 We felt very presidential and first lady like in the Oval Office.

 A yummy lunch where we stuffed ourselves too full, and then off to pick the kids up from school.

We enjoyed our kid-less field trip with the Duncans!

Tennis

Barrett got moved up to the next level at tennis.  He's been working hard to accomplish this, and was so happy.

 Kaleb started tennis lessons and is loving it!

The two boys are really enjoying this sport!

Happy Birthday Big Bubs

Today we celebrated our cousin Aiden's 4th birthday, Toy Story style!

 It's always so much fun to play with cousins, big and small!

A Day With Gram

Today Kaleb and I went to spend the day with Gram.  The boys and Papa were at the deer lease, and Brynn was sewing with Duby, making it the perfect day for a little outing for us.

They've had so much rain, we hardly recognized some of our favorite sights.

Our favorite lily pad dock was barley sticking out of the very high lake. The lily pads and sidewalk were completely under the water.

  As soon as the sun peeked out, we would go out and explore.  While the sun was tucked behind the clouds and it was chilly, we stayed nestled inside.

 We always enjoy our days with Gram and Papa, and today was no different!

Outing

While Daddy and the two big boys were at the deer lease for the weekend, I took Brynn and Kaleb on some fun outings.  Brynn wants to sew a new snuggle nightgown, so we went and got the fabric and supplies picked out.

 Since they had gift cards and Christmas money, we went to the bookstore next.  We love the bookstore!

We took our time and soaked it all in.  No place to be, no rushing.

When we got home, Brynn and Kaleb made houses for their stuffed animals.  Brynn sewed some cute accessories for them!

 I love seeing them use their imaginations and be creative!

This and That

We had a nice, long Winter Break this year.  After Christmas, we were able to relax and enjoy.

We had some rainy, gloomy days.  Brynn sewed some stuffed friends for she and Kaleb to play with.

 We've enjoyed reading by the fire on cold days.

 Brynn had a fun time at her friend Claire's b-day party.

 Fun bike rides on pretty days never let us down!

Hello 2019

We are ready to kick off a new year!

There are several new things on the horizon for our family.

Isaiah 43:19 will be our family verse this year as we experience all God has in store for us this year!
