 Halloween this year brought:

Anakin Skywalker,

 Mulan,

and her trusty sidekick, Mushu the Dragon.

 We spent the evening trick-or-treating with a group of fun friends!

A night filled with fun childhood memories being made!

Mulan

Since rain was in the forecast in the days leading up to Halloween, I wanted to take some costume pictures while the ground was still dry.  I didn't make it mandatory... and as you can see, Mulan was my only volunteer.

 The boys didn't want to get dressed up and let me take their picture.  I can't imagine what could be more fun!?!

 Brynn had very specific directions for how she wanted her hair and makeup done so that she could look like Mulan.

Fall Festival

This year we went to a different fall festival at a local church.  Robert was working and the kids and I were invited to join some of our friends.

 It ended up being a lot more crowded than we anticipated.

 We chose a couple of rides with short lines,

 and played some games.  I think the kids just had fun being with each other more than anything!  The parking lot could have been empty and they would have still had a blast together!

Thankful for all these special friends!

Pumpkin Patch x 2

We made our second visit to a pumpkin patch this season.  This time it was a patch we had never visited before.  We met one of our adoption groups there for a little outing while Blake and Daddy were at their camp out.

We fed animals, rode a hayride, and posed for fun pictures.  This time I actually remembered my real camera, but when I turned it on, realized the battery was dead.  So, I carried around my dead camera and took pictures with my phone.

 They each picked out the perfect little pumpkin. 

 We had a great time! 

Run for the Little Flowers

We ran/walked in the 2nd Annual Run for the Little Flowers.

 It is a virtual run, so you run/walk wherever you are!  It is a fun way to raise money for the orphans in China!

More Random

We had fun at another birthday party.

Miss Texas came to speak to the kids at school.

Blake and Daddy went on their first cub scout camp out.

 The littles and I had a fun weekend together while Blake and Daddy were gone.

Tea Party Fun

Brynn was invited to her friend Madison's birthday party.  Of course I completely forgot my camera, so the pictures aren't the best quality:(

 They got to choose a beautiful princess dress and accessories to put on when they got to the party.

Along with the dresses, they got to put on make-up.

 It was the cutest little tea room!

 They had snacks, cupcakes, tea, and a fashion show, all before the big princess parade. 

 Brynn had a fun time doing something girly for a change (she had just sat through two soccer games before this)!

Random

 The foundation under our garage was in desperate need of repair.

 Not what I like to spend money on, but necessary.

 Little sissy celebrated her birthday.

 We had a guest speaker after church with the adoption ministry, where we feasted on authentic Thai food.  Check out Hope for Hilltribes!

 The latest fad has kept us very busy! 

The Boys

The boys have been trucking right along with soccer and school.

 So proud of Barrett for making the first goal of the game!

Brynn

Brynn has been a busy girl the last couple of weeks.  She started her first day of speech.  She goes for 30 minutes, once a week.

 She had a heart check-up.  Everything is still looking great!

 She had a cavity filled.
