BMO Derby Car Race

One of the boys' favorite events is our Boys Mission Organization's Derby Car Race.

 Neither one of the boys placed this year, but they still had fun making and racing their cars!

This and That

Bugz Musical

The first and second graders put on a great show when they performed Bugz the Musical!

Barrett was a firefly and Brynn was a ladybug.

Brynn had a speaking part, and did a wonderful job!

 It was a super fun performance to watch!  They all did a fantastic job!

Spring Storms

It's that time of year in Texas... spring storms.

We had quite a doozy one evening.  It came quickly, and left quickly.

This was a piece of hail that we picked up in our yard after the storm was over.

 The hail was so big and was hitting so hard.  We are shocked that we didn't have any windows busted out in our house.  The boys had fun going around the yard pulling hail out afterwards.  It was crazy to see how hard the hail had slammed into the ground.

 We lost a tree out of it.

 We are thankful that we were kept safe and that the damage was minimal.

Check-Ups

The three big kids went for their yearly check-up.

Blake - 57 1/4 inches tall

79 lbs.

Barrett - 50 1/4 inches tall

60 lbs.

Brynn - 48 inches tall

41 lbs.

Lately

Our cute little cowboy.

 Barrett bought himself a new pair of shades, and insisted on wearing them at recess.

Brynn has been working hard to make a basket.

 Beautiful spring evenings mean dinner outside,

 And golf cart rides around the neighborhood.

Spring also means evening fishing trips,

 And ice cream treats!

 After a solid week of hard work, she made a basket, but not just one... she made many baskets!

An exciting Friday night watching the kids play outside!
