Thanksgiving

 We started our Thanksgiving off with breakfast at the Gillespie house.  They made yummy cinnamon rolls, we brought banana bread and breakfast casserole to contribute.  We drank coffee, filled our bellies with breakfast, and lounged in our pj's.  Josh was busy working on the turkey and Gram was busy making some snacks and sides.

 We came home and enjoyed the dog show,

 while we baked lots of yummy desserts.

 Back to the Gillespie house for a dinner filled with laughter, eating, and playing for the whole Grable fam (we forgot to get a Grable family picture).

This & That

Subbing in my boy's class and perfecting his cursive.

The kids did some dog-sitting over the holiday break.  They worked hard and were very responsible with Mike (the dog).

Baxter and I love our evening walks and beautiful sunsets! 

 Baxter is working on his Christmas list!  We know he'll make the nice list since he's such a good boy!

Mini-Meet

Barrett swam solid at his mini-meet, beating some of his previous times.

 Gram and Papa got to come cheer him on.

We always love watching Barrett swim and are proud of his hard work!

Brrrr

A cold front came though and we were perfectly happy warming up by the fire!

Fall Sewing

Brynn made a couple of fall throw pillows for her fall project this year.

 They turned out cute and we loved decorating our home with them!

Visiting

While the two big boys, Daddy, and Papa were at the deer lease, we spent some time with Gram.

As always, we had a wonderful time and look forward to the next visit!

Student of Honor

Barrett was recognized as the Rockwall Noon Rotary Student of Honor.

We attended a luncheon and Rotary Club meeting, where he was presented to the Rotary Club members.

 We are so proud of Barrett for his character and integrity.  He works hard to do well at school, he's respectful to his teachers, he's a kind and caring friend, and he loves the Lord.

We are so proud of him and were honored to watch him receive this award!

Malcolm

We are a great-uncle and great-aunt again!  Malcolm is the sweetest little bundle!

Mother/Daughter Event

This year, the GMO (Girls Mission Organization) Mother/Daughter event was an outdoor adventure.  Brynn and I had a good afternoon spending time with each other and other moms/daughters.
