Summer Continued

It's good to be back home and have everything back in swing to wrap up our summer.

We always like posing Baxter for pictures!

Home Again, Home Again

Our stop at Hunting Island was short, but just long enough to give us a little taste of one of our favorite places!

We got on the road early and drove to Mississippi where we stopped for the night.  We finished our journey home the next day in time to go pick Baxter from the kennel.

It was amazing trip!

We got to visit family, the mountains, and the beach!

We are thankful for our time on the road, the memories will last a lifetime!

Sunny Beach Day

 Today we woke up to sunny skies and the promise of a full day at the beach.

Once again, Barrett worked hard on burying himself!

The kids got to play in some good waves today, and had a blast!

We left our things at the beach and went back to the camper to eat lunch.  After lunch, we headed back out to the beach to spend the rest of the afternoon.

And then Blake got a big surprise when his daddy dressed like him for the day!

After a full, fun day at the beach, we got ready for dinner at our favorite restaurant, Dockside!

Blake ordered his favorite platter.

 I ordered my fave, Shrimp and Grits.

This boy was stuffed and happy!

We walked around our favorite marina, enjoying the beautiful sunset.

Today was the best day!  A day full of fun at the beach and dinner at our favorite restaurant!

These are the days!

Cloudy But Beachy

Today there was a chance of rain, with lots of clouds in the sky.  We hit the beach after breakfast to get some time in before the rain came.

Barrett loves to dig, so he got right to work.

Brynn and Kaleb did some more beach combing.

They found some great treasures!  We loved seeing the live sand dollars this trip!

We were so excited that Brynn found a shark tooth!

Barrett worked hard all day and finally got his hole deep enough to get into!

Blake spent the day skim boarding.  He took a few falls and had some great rides as well!

I love the magic of the beach with my family!

We packed our things up at the beach and headed to a local favorite for lunch.

The shrimp and flounder burgers are the absolute best!

From there, we went to our favorite coffee shop.

Brynn and I love their lattes!!

We got back to the camper just as the rain started coming down. There was quite a downpour, so we spent the rest of the afternoon in the camper.

As the rain let up, we got ready to head to dinner at a local pizza shop.

It was a fun atmosphere and delicious pizza!  The perfect way to spend a soggy, rainy evening.

On our way back to camp, we stopped at our favorite beach shop.

It was a great day!
