RV Show - Day 2

Barrett wanted to go back to the RV show on Saturday, even offering to pay his own admission.

Since it only comes to town once a year, I knew this was his only chance to get to check out all of his favorites.  He, Brynn, and I made the journey back and spent a few hours looking at the RV's again.

This Lance camper was his favorite.  He has his whole life as a Park Ranger mapped out, which includes living in this Lance camper with his cat.

 Barrett walked us until our legs were tired and our feet hurt!

We had a fun time getting to see all of the newest models of campers!

GMO Sleepover

Brynn had a lot of fun at our church's GMO Sleepover (She didn't sleepover, but stayed until 10 p.m. when all of the activities ended).

Dallas RV Supershow

We always look forward to when the RV Show comes to Dallas!  But, no one looks forward to it as much as Barrett does.  We decided to check him out of school early on opening day so we could enjoy the show, minus the crowds.

We stopped for a short lunch, but otherwise darted from camper to camper to see it all.

Barrett stocked up on the 2020 catalogs to study the new models and floorplans.

We had such a fun afternoon!

Tres Rios - Last Day

Today we woke up to another beautiful morning.  We cooked eggs and sausage on our griddle for breakfast.  We took one last picture of the path the kids spent so much time making.  They took down the lean-to and put up and flag pole in it's place.

 We stopped for lunch on the patio on our way home. #doglife

We had good weather and a good time!

Tres Rios- Day 3

We are thankful for these two guys!  They provided us with a yummy pancake and sausage breakfast this morning.

We were also thankful for less wind and more warmth today!

 Everyone was sore from their path building yesterday, so they chose to play basketball, horseshoes, and ride bikes today.

 Brynn, Baxter, and I enjoyed a walk around the beautiful Brazos.

 Another yummy dinner followed by time sitting around the campfire until bedtime.

 Baxter was so tired tonight.  He just couldn't keep his eyes open.

 We all enjoyed a good laugh on his behalf.

Being a camp dog is exhausting!

Tres Rios- Day 2

Good morning!

We love a beautiful sunrise over the Brazos River.

 It was a chilly morning.  Sitting around the fire was the best way to stay warm this morning.

 When it warmed up, we went for a walk around Squaw Creek.

It didn't take long for the kids to make their way into the cold creek.

They went across a low part of the creek to a little "island".  They decided to construct a path to get back to shore.  Barrett and Jaxson are standing on the first phase of the path.

Skipping rocks is always a favorite camping activity!

 They spent the entire day constructing their path!  They even started making a lean-to on the island.

 They came back to camp to eat a quick lunch, and then back to work they went.

 After a full day spent at the creek, they came back tired, sore, cold, and hungry.  We cooked dinner and then sat around the campfire enjoying s'mores.

 After a warm shower, we love climbing into our cozy camper beds and relaxing before we nod off to sleep.

 It was a good day at #campmcintire!
