Baby Dedication

Two times a year our church has Baby Dedication.  It's a time to introduce the new babies and pray them and their parents.

 This time we had two family members at Baby Dedication

We were a proud family to see these two beautiful gifts from God and to be able to pray for them.

We didn't get any pictures with Annabelle, but we were able to take a picture with Asher.

Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from Him.

Napping Tom,

 Cousin C asked Brynn to sew him a couple of pillowcases to take to college.  She worked hard and made him two pretty pillowcases!

 This year I've been subbing at our school.  I have recess pictures with all of the other kids during my time as a teacher.  And now my collection is complete with a recess picture with Kaleb.  It's been such a joy to be able to sub and still be involved at our school.

 Blake and Barrett have been mowing yards this summer.  Barrett saved his money and bought himself a kayak.  So proud of both boys for working so hard!

 The start of a new school year also means the start of Girls Mission Organization and Boys Mission Organization at church. This was Zoey and Kaleb's first year to participate.  Since I'm teaching first grade girls, Zoey is in my class!

Texoma Shores Day 2

We awoke to a beautiful morning on Lake Texoma!

Rocking chairs, coffee, and a nice breeze were the perfect way to start our day.

  The kids enjoyed many games of 4-Square.

 We swam and hunted for treasures along the beach.

 We had a beautiful view from our front yard!

Looking forward to our next trip to Lake Texoma!

Texoma Shores

We spent Labor Day weekend in Oklahoma at Texoma Shores.

This is a great place to slow down and unwind!

After our first week back to school, it was nice to get away and relax.

 The weather is always a little cooler here because the breeze blows off the lake.  It was still warm enough to call for an afternoon swim though!

 We swam until dinner and then went on an evening stroll back down to the lake. 

 We skipped rocks as the sun set.

 There were several planets shining bright in the night sky. We enjoyed researching which ones they were and gazing at them.

It was a good day at #campmcintire!
