Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween from our crew!
Although Halloween was a little bit different this year, we still enjoyed our tradition of spending the evening with the Stuarts!

Last Game

Kaleb played his last flag football game for the season.
We loved watching him play and seeing his progress over the course of the season.
We are so proud of him and are looking forward to next season!

Pumpkin Carving

Brynn has worked so hard at our local pumpkin patch this season.  She's worked a regular shift and been paid for her time.  When I picked her up from work on the last day of the season, I grabbed some small pumpkins to carve at home.
This isn't something we do every year, so the kids had a blast doing something different.
We have a viola, Mickey ice cream bar, and a face!

Moving Right Along

We are moving right along with the month of October.
Barrett had his first swim meet of the season.  It was a small event due to COVID.  He swam strong and set some new personal records.
Church cousins!
We are loving the fall temps!
Tom is a good ole cat.
Brynn sewed two new pumpkins that we've happily put around our home to decorate for fall.
Cooler temps result in our first fire of the season.  Blake and I pulled our beanbag chairs up front and center to enjoy the warmth!
Red Ribbon Week at school.
This month is flying by!

Tres Rios

Today was much warmer than our first night and day.  We went from using the heat on night one, to the fan and a/c on night two.
The section of the Brazos River that runs around the campground was so low.  We decided to wade out to the middle and explore all of the things in the dried up riverbed.
The day was warmer, but the water was still chilly!
The kids found so many good rocks and some shells.  They had fun collecting them and skipping the smooth ones.
Skipping rocks never gets old!
Neither does hunting for unique rocks.
It was a quick, but relaxing weekend!  Looking forward to #campmcintire being on the move again soon!

Glen Rose

We left as soon as school was out Friday afternoon, ready and excited about a weekend away.
We awoke to a beautiful Saturday morning at camp.  We ate breakfast and drank coffee with no agenda and no place to be.
We hung out at camp, enjoying the beautiful day.
After lunch at camp, we went into town to our favorite local pie shop, Pie Peddlers.
We all got a slice of our favorite pie.  I tried blueberry pie for the first time and loved it!
We purchased a couple of whole pies to take back to camp, and then walked around town for a little bit.
We stopped by Big Rocks Park on our way back to camp.  It was a fun, natural playground!  The kids jumped and climbed from rock to rock, having the best time!
We went back to camp where we played basketball, horseshoes, biked, walked, and relaxed.  We ended the day around the campfire eating more pie and drinking coffee and sodas.
RV life is the best life!  This is the stuff memories are made of!

This & That

Brynn has been enjoying her weekly tennis lessons with her friends.
We've had beautiful weather as things are starting to cool off, but the sun is still shining.
We've had beautiful sunsets too.  I love seeing these views when I walk Baxter each evening.
We voted!  #election2020
Sweet Baxter
Blake loves playing in the worship band for his youth group each week.
