More Happenings

The kids and I went in search of Monarch butterfly eggs.  We came up empty handed this year.  I think we started too late, and the crazy weather kept us from finding some this time.

 The kids new favorite thing to do is play Frisbee.

 Kindergarten had Teddy Bear Day.  They brought their stuffed friends to school.

 While they were out of the room, the bears trashed the room!

April Catch-Up

April gave us a few sunny days in between all of the rainy days. 

 Barrett had a field trip to the Planetarium.  It was raining that day, so we had to go back to the school afterwards instead of enjoying a picnic lunch 

 The BMO Derby Car Race is always a favorite. The boys had been working on their cars for the past month during BMO's.  Barrett's car got 2nd place in the 1st grade bracket.

 We enjoyed a fun day outside with sunny skies! 

 

Disctrict Art Show

Brynn's work was selected to be displayed at the District Art Show.

We were all so excited to go to the high school and see Brynn's work on display!

Spring Musical

The 1st grade group did a wonderful performance at the Spring Musical!

 We had fun watching Barrett and are proud of him!

Brynn's Field Trip

After much anticipation, field trip day for kindergarten had finally arrived!

 Brynn was so excited about getting to ride the school bus!  We went to a play and lunch at the park.  It was a fun day for my girl and I!

Austin, TX

After studying Texas history all year, the 4th graders got to take a field trip to Austin, TX.  They loaded up in chartered buses and made the 4 hour drive to our State Capitol.  They also got to visit the Bob Bullock Museum, Inner Space Caverns, and ate barbecue on the way home.  Robert went as a chaperone.  He and Blake had a fun day together, but were exhausted by the time they got home that night!

Egg Hunt
