TSP- Last Day

Our pancake master cooked us some yummy pancakes to start the day.

Full bellies mean it's time to kick back and relax.

 We went up to the camp store to buy cold sodas to drink while we took in the view before we had to pack up camp.

 Our short camping weekends are never long enough.  Before we knew it, it was already time to pack up and head back home.

The highlight of this campground for the kids was canoeing.  Our site was spacious and provided a lot of shade.

TSP- Day 2

 Today we started the day off nice and slow.  We ate breakfast and relaxed around camp. The kids rode bikes and played in the sand.  After lunch, we hiked out to the lake to rent canoes.

 It was a beautiful day!

We rented two canoes and took turns going out.

 For dinner, we cooked burgers over the open flame.

 The kids played in the sand and rode bikes until dark.

 We had a great site (Big Pine #66) with a lot of space to play!

 At dark, the raccoons came out in full force!  We sat in our chairs by the fire and watched them creeping all around us!

The kids enjoyed canoeing and working on their sand creation, which I'm sad I didn't get a picture of.  It was a good day at camp!

Tyler State Park

#campmcintire is on the move again... this time headed east!

We left for Tyler State Park after school, which means we got there at dark.

We set up the basics and then finished in the daylight the next morning.

 Our RV buddies, the Duncans, were already there and had a warm fire blazing.

Blake played some of the music he's learning on the guitar, while we all chatted around camp.

Color Run

Brynn and Barrett participated in Run Club again this year.  It's an after-school activity sponsored by teachers.  On the last day of Run Club for the school year, they have a color run, always a favorite!

They had a great time and made new, fun memories!

This and That

A cooking unit in College and Career class,

 Music lessons with Jake,

 Eye exam and new glasses,

Just a little bit of this and a little bit of that!

Derby Car Race

The Boys Mission Organization had their annual Derby Car Race.  Barrett's car ran well, he won a few heats, but not the overall for his age bracket.  It was a fun night!

Art Show

Brynn and Kaleb had artwork chosen to be displayed at the District Art Show.

Meyerson Symphony Center

Blake had the opportunity to play at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas today.  They did an amazing job and it was a wonderful experience!

Kindergarten Field Trip

Today I went with Kaleb to the North Texas Children's Museum.

 

 After spending the morning at the museum, we went to the park for lunch.

It was a fun field trip and great day!
