Brynn - 2nd Grade Celebration

Brynn had a great year in 2nd grade!  We are thankful that she had such a caring and supportive teacher!

She got awards for Citizenship, Perfect Attendance, A-B Honor Roll, Art Achievement, and the Music Award!

 We are so proud of how hard she works at school!  She never gives up, even when it's challenging!

Kaleb - Pre-K Celebration

Kaleb had a cute end of year celebration, complete with songs that had motions.

He got his Pre-K Certificate and the Excellent Encourager Award. 

 He had a great first semester, a more challenging second semester, but we made it to the end!

 We are so thankful for kind, loving teachers for our boy as he conquered his first school experience!

Barrett- End of Year Celebration

Another school year has come to an end.  It's hard to believe how quickly the time goes by.

Barrett had an amazing year in 3rd grade.  He had the best teacher and made such great memories with his friends.  He made so much academic progress this year!

 He got awards for A-Honor Roll, Citizenship, Amazing Memory, and the Music Award.

 He wrote letters to both Robert and I.

Memorial Day 2017

Tres Rios~Last Day

On our last day we went back to the creek so the kids could play.

They met some friends here this weekend, who they played with all weekend.  They all played in the creek together before we all had to pack up and head back home.

 We ate lunch and then packed up camp to head back home and close out our school year.

We had a fabulous weekend doing what we love best!

Tres Rios~Day 3

Today was overcast and misted off and on.  We tried to do some morning fishing, but had no luck.

 We spent some time in the camper while we waited for the misty skies to clear up.

The kids played cards and had some storytelling time.

 When the skies cleared up, we set out to explore. 

 Since the Brazos River was low, people were wading out to the middle to hang out.  We decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad we did!  We skipped rocks and had fun collecting shells and interesting rocks in the dried up riverbed.

 We played until time to get dinner ready.  We ate, rode bikes, played on the playground, and then headed to bed.

We had so much fun exploring today!

Tres Rios~Day 2

We started the morning with a hike around Squaw Creek.

 The boys had fun driving their remote control cars in the dirt! 

Behind them is the point where the tres rios (3 rivers) meet.  Squaw Creek, Paluxy River, and the Brazos River.

 Horseshoes and tether ball are always a favorite! 

 It warmed up nicely today, so a swim was in order! 

 Followed by ice cream!

 Then an afternoon in the creek.

 Yummy camp dinner, more playing, biking, showers and hanging out at our campsite ended our day.
