Easter Egg Hunting

The day of our annual Easter Egg Hunt had come.  The sun was offering us a beautiful spring afternoon!

The baskets were ready, and so were the hunters! 

There were games, 

 games,

games, 

 and more games!

And then the moment they had all been waiting for...

Egg hunting!

I followed Brynn around while Robert followed the boys around, and then we switched.

Let's just say... Brynn was a lot easier to keep up with!

The boys were on a mission and they didn't slow down for pictures for mom!

Hey Batter Batter

Baseball season in underway... our first year to play!  It is coach-pitch for Blake's age group.

 He has been anxiously awaiting their first game day.  I have to say, when he got suited up, I couldn't believe how handsome he looked!

 It was a nice, warm morning at the ball field.

There was plenty to keep the little guys entertained during the game.

 Blake had quite the fan club there to watch him.

 Hey batter batter, 

 Swing!

 And he whacked the ball on the first pitch!

 He had an awesome first game and we had a blast watching him!

 I think this fam might like baseball after all!

Happy Birthday Party

 Happy Birthday Party!

Since Brynn was still recovering from her heart surgery on her actual birthday, we postponed her party.  We decided this year to have a double birthday party for our little guys.  I didn't even try to coordinate the theme, just let them choose what they wanted.  And as you can see, we had Pirates and Minnie!  I didn't get any pictures because my hands were full... the wind was blowing fiercely on the day of their outside party!  All their best buddies and family members came to celebrate.  Aside from the wind, we couldn't have asked for a better celebration!

Going On

We have...

had hurt eyes,

practiced Mandarin,

played with friends,

gone crawdad fishing,

Flown kites,

read car magazines,

celebrated St. Patty's Day,

had a picnic lunch on the balcony,

worn ponytails,

repaired bikes,

enjoyed the warm sunshine,

practiced baseball,

and eaten pizza!
