New Year's Eve 2023

We enjoyed our traditional Stu-Intire New Year's Eve celebration!
We enjoyed traveling in our RV and watching our oldest son graduate from high school this year.  2023 was good to us!  Goodbye 2023!

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas morning!
We opened gifts, ate cinnamon rolls, watched the parade, played LCR (Barrett won the jackpot), and enjoyed Christmas morning at home!
At dinnertime, all of the family started arriving for a Grable Family Christmas.
It was a day filled with the magic of Christmas and family!
When everyone went back home, it was a quiet evening filled with full hearts.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Eve

We started our morning off worshipping at church.  It was a family service, so there weren't any youth or Sunday school classes, and were were able to attend the same hour and sit as a family.
We ended the evening together drinking hot cocoa, eating cookies, and looking at Christmas lights.
Merry Christmas Eve!

Out for Winter Break

The boys set off on a trip to the deer lease our first week out of school for winter break.
Blake hunted in a blind by himself for a bit on his first solo hunt.
While the boys were away, Brynn and I enjoyed several movies on the couch, food out, and plenty of coffee!

Progressive Dinner

One of our favorite traditions is our annual Grable Family Progressive Dinner!  This year Uncle Bradley was sick, so we were down a house.  We combined the appetizers and main meal all at our house and had 3 rounds of gifts to open here.
The Killoughs drew names for Uncie, Allie, Blake, and Beau.
The Estes Family drew Brynn, Mantha, Elleigh, Bubs, and Joshie
We drew Maddie, Cade (at work so Cousin C posed for him), YayYay, Zoey, Bobby, Sissy, and Tesia.
After the appetizers and main meal, we were off to the Gillespie's for dessert!
The rest of us got to open our gifts at this stop since the Gillespie's drew our names.
It was another memorable progressive dinner!

Christmas Parade

The Serve Team at church had a float in the local parade.  It was a Snoopy theme. We passed out candy and information about our church.

Oh Christmas Tree

We made our annual trek out to the local tree farm to kick off the Christmas season.
It took a little more work to select this year due to the extreme heat and drought we had this summer.  We decided to go with simple this year and found the perfect little guy.
After much time spent in the field searching, we enjoyed our traditional latte and pecans at the barn!
Tis the Season!
