Happy 8th Birthday Brynn

Brynn and I went out for a special lunch and shopping trip to celebrate her 8th birthday.
She loves playing babies, so I took she and her baby, Zoey, to American Girl.
Zoey got her hair fixed at the beauty salon.
Brynn picked out a puppy and a pair of glasses for Zoey.
One of her friends came over to play, eat pizza, and cupcakes.
Happy 8th Birthday to our beautiful, kind, compassionate daughter!
We love this girl dearly!!

Funeral Procession

It is always gut wrenching and heart breaking when we lose a fellow officer in the line of duty.  Robert has the honor of riding in the funeral procession when it is a local officer we have lost.  Here are some pictures from the funeral procession for Little Elm Detective Jerry Walker
We purchased a print of the pictures below that were taken by First Response Photography.  The shots below have Robert pictured.

Phone Pics

When this guy is feeling a little separation anxiety, we dress in similar colors and take a picture.
Basketball season is upon us. #22
Showing up to work and seeing that you and your teammates dressed similar.
4 little snugglies on the couch.
Getting to see each other at recess makes for a fun Friday!

Life

Life is cruising along, and we are just trying to keep up!
The boys have enjoyed time at the deer lease camping and hunting.
Hip hip hooray, Kaleb got his cast off,
with instructions to continue restricted use for 4 more weeks.
Now, time to break the habit of using his left hand for everything and get back to using his right hand! #castproblems
 Our Texas snow dusting!
 My little baking helper.
Homework is better with a buddy.

Hello 2017

Here we go with a new year!
We have some new things coming up this year.
Two of the biggies for us are that Blake will start middle school and Kaleb will start kindergarten.
We are looking forward to new adventures in our RV.
We will continue to strengthen the relationships with our family and friends.
We will continue striving to serve the Lord with gladness and parenting intentionally, in the midst of a very busy life (hello full-time jobs and 4 kids!).
Our verse for 2017 is going back to one of my favorites:
This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.  Psalm 118:24
As we sometimes tend to grumble about our (many) daily responsibilities, I pray that we will rejoice in each day the Lord has given us.
Thankful for the newness and hope a new year brings!
Welcome 2017!
