We started our day off at the river. I drank my coffee while Brynn and Kaleb skipped rocks.
The view from our campsite was breathtaking!
One of the things we love most about camping is watching the kids explore, discover, and use their imaginations. Brynn found two sticks and turned them into chopsticks.
We went on a little train ride through the woods at the state park. The conductor told us the history of the state park, talked about the foliage, and wildlife.
Spotting wildlife is always a favorite!
We went back to the swimming hole during the heat of the day.
It was hot in the sun, yet freezing in the water.
We set up a tent for shade and ate snowcones at the water's edge while the kids swam and played.
A view looking up from our campsite.
The kids found a riverbed that had good skipping rocks, so they spent a lot of time down there!
Brynn found a "thumbs up" rock.
After dinner, we went for a family bike ride. We got to see deer out grazing during our ride.
Another fun and a full day spent out in God's beautiful creation!
