Spurlock's Malt Shop

We drove to the small town of Anna, TX to eat lunch at Spurlock's Malt Shop.  It's a small family owned and operated hamburger and malt shop.  We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this small Texas town!

703 graduates

Barrett decided to graduate a year early, and he did it!  It was a fun evening watching him walk across the stage to receive his High School Diploma.  We are so proud of his hard work and accomplishment!

Family Graduation Celebration

We surprised Barrett with a small, informal graduation celebration for lunch the day of his graduation.  We picked up his favorite pizza (Getti), tea, and a cake.

It was a nice way for the six of us to celebrate our graduate together!

WMS Awards

It was a great day watching as Kaleb was awarded A/B Honor Roll for his 7th grade year.

7th grade was a year of transition as Kaleb moved to middle school.  It took some time to adjust, but he did really well!  We are proud of him!

Grad Sunday

Grad Sunday at our church is always a special time.  Barrett's been led and mentored at our church since he was born.  He's had opportunities to learn, serve, grow, and lead here.  Everyone here has poured into his life. He's now equipped and ready to be sent out!

Cording Ceremony

Barrett received two cords for his work in the Agriculture Program (welding) at our school district's

  Career and Technical Education Cording Ceremony. It's a program that equips students with the skills and knowledge needed for specific careers or fields of work. 

The Ag program was the highlight of his senior year.  We are so proud of how hard he worked and how much he learned in this program!

Barrett, Blake Raymond, Jake Day, and Jackson Jeffus made quite the crew in Ag class each day!  They worked hard and played hard.  It was a fun year for these boys!

Our favorite ag teacher is Mr. Sawyer.  He played a pivotal role in Blake and Barrett's senior years!
