Fall Festival

We always look forward to our church's Fall Festival.  We had great weather for the event and a great time!

October Happenings

October has been a fun-filled month!

Fall Break, Last Day

Today we had breakfast on Gram and Papa's porch.  Pancakes and sausage on the griddle, along with yummy coffee!  After breakfast, we packed up and had to head back home.

We had such a fun week with family!  We are thankful for the extra days off that our district added to the calendar.  They were much needed, and much appreciated!

Game Day

We spent the day relaxing while the kids played at camp.  The Killough family came out to spend the day today. Papa grilled yummy hamburgers and hotdogs for lunch.  I didn't take any pictures because I was in complete relaxation mode!

We all showered and headed into town that evening because the team Cousin C coaches were playing our alma mater, Quinlan High School!  

The sunset was beautiful at the QHS football field!

Cousin C had a large cheer session!  When you match up his team with our former Quinlan Panthers, you can expect this crew to be there for it!

When the game was over, we headed back east to nestle into our camper beds.

Fall Break

We were so excited to have our first-ever Fall Break at school!

I had to work Monday and Tuesday, so on Wednesday morning, we hooked onto the camper and headed east to Gram and Papa's place!

The Gillespie Fam rented a cabin to stay in, so there was a lot of cousin fun happening!

These are the days!  Cool mornings, warm afternoons, dirty kids, and memories with cousins and grandparents.

Our nightly routine consisted of a warm campfire, lawn chairs, s'mores, and flashlight walks!
